Foundation of the Society established in 1945
1. To perpetuate a Society of friends devoted to the quest for Truth regardless of race, colour or creed, in accordance with the Pythagorean Tradition.
2. To promote the freedom of individual ideas, hypothesis, and perceptions into ancient and historical traditions.
3. To promote the development of Philosophy and Science as mutually supporting the common unity of Nature.
4. To encourage and propagate the Arts and Sciences and to encourage all other organisations who are in sympathy with any one or more of these objectives.

Membership to the Society is free. If we have your e-mail address we will send you our bi-yearly programme of monthly lectures. The cost of running the Society is paid for by an admittance fee at the door of the lecture Hall which averages £3.00 per person at present. Voluntary donations help towards the cost of printing and running expenses.
